For accounting and bookkeeping services, you will receive a full set of your company’s accounts and financial statements prepared in accordance with the Companies Act of Singapore and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) every year. These will be provided to you within 6 months of your company’s financial year-end (FYE) to meet ACRA filing deadlines. For most private and unlisted companies registered in Singapore, your company needs to hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) within 6 months of your company’s financial year-end as per the Companies Act. If you require more timely preparation of your annual accounts and financial statements, please let us know.
7) What do I get when I engage your corporate tax services?
For corporate tax services, we will provide you with your company’s annual tax computation and file your company’s Income Tax Return with IRAS (Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore) for each YA (Year of Assessment) by 30 November each year, which is the IRAS filing deadline.
We will also prepare your company’s ECI (Estimated Chargeable Income) every year based on your company’s management accounts and file the ECI with IRAS within 3 months of your company’s financial year-end (FYE), unless your company qualifies for the ECI waiver. Please note that if your company does not file the ECI within 3 months of your FYE, IRAS may issue you with an estimated Notice of Assessment based on your company’s past year’s income or other information available to IRAS. In such a case, your company will not be able to enjoy instalment payments.
8) What do I get when I engage your company secretary services?
For company secretarial services, we will appoint our authorised staff to act as your company’s secretary and maintain all of your company’s statutory registers (including the Register of Directors, CEOs, Secretaries and Auditors, Register of Members, Register of Director’s Shareholdings, Register of Registrable Controllers, Register of Debenture Holders, Register of Charges etc.).
In addition, we will prepare your company’s annual AGM documents and Board of Directors’ Resolutions on a yearly basis, and file your company’s Annual Return (AR) with ACRA within 7 months of your company’s financial year-end (FYE) as required under the Companies Act. Do note that in line with most SME market practices, annual company secretary fees are payable in advance at the beginning of your company’s FYE for acting as your company’s secretary for the upcoming year.
9) What do I get when I engage your company incorporation services?
We will assist you with the incorporation of your new company. This includes: choice of company type (sole proprietorship, partnership, private limited company etc), registering your new company name with ACRA, performing a search with ACRA to ensure that there is no duplication of company name and the name is suitable, advise on principle activity and selection of industry code, selection of financial year-end, choice of M&A, obtaining additional approvals from the relevant government authorities if so required, choosing a Special UEN (Unique Entity Number) with repetitive numbers or containing the number “8” (for a fee payable to ACRA: $3,000 for Tier 1 SUN or $1,000 Tier 2 SUN) if you prefer, AND assistance with setting up your company’s Corppass for electronic access to government online portals (e.g. ACRA portal, IRAS tax portal, CPF online portal etc).
10) Do you provide GST accounting services?
Yes, we provide GST accounting services to compute your company’s quarterly net GST payable to IRA and file your quarterly GST F5 return on the IRAS tax portal within 1 month of every quarter-end.
11) What other services does your company provide?
We provide ALL PAYROLL services for your company (including monthly and ad-hoc salary and CPF computations, bonus and additional wage computations, time-based payroll computations, overtime computations, annual leave, medical leave and hospitalisation leave computations AND bank payment preparations). We also provide AIS computations and submissions.
We provide HUMAN RESOURCE services (including the drafting of employment contracts for full-time staff, part-time staff, Employment Pass (EP) holders, S-pass holders and Work Permit holders in accordance with MOM (Ministry of Manpower) guidelines). In addition, we can assist your company with the employment of foreign staff, quota requirements for foreign staff and applications with MOM for foreign work passes.
